LES FONDEMENTS PHILOSOPHIQUES DE LA GÉOMÉTRIE CIRCULAIRE DANS LA COMMUNICATION AFRICAINE

              L’article analyse les fondements philosophiques du schéma circulaire de la communication africaine élaboré par le Professeur JACQUES FAME NDONGO dans son ouvrage intitulé : un regard africain sur la communication. A la découverte de la géométrie circulaire, paru au Cameroun en 1996.

                La réflexion suscitée par la similitude au plan géométrique entre ce schéma et celui de l’École de Palo Alto, millénaire, que le schéma de la communication africaine trouve ses fondements dans la cosmogonie africaine et réfère aussi bien à la conception circulaire et holistique du monde qu’a une philosophie existentielle fondée sur la communion de l’homme avec la nature et son intégration dans l’univers.

                                                                           ABSTRACT

               This article analyses the philosophical foundations of the circular schema of African communication as elaborated by Professor JACQUES FAME NDONGO in his book intitled: An African outlook on communication. A discovery of circular geometry, published in Cameroon in 1996.

               The thinking triggered by the similar stands of said schema lead one the millenia African thinking to release that the foundations of the schema of African communication stem from the African cosmogony both as regard the circular and holistic understanding of the world and the existential philosophy taking within man’s communication with nature or universe.
