                      Cet article a pour objectif d’interroger la relation entre le traitement télévisuel et l’évènement sous l’angle de l’impact des modalités de médiation sur le registre de perception finale des faits. Au-delà de la contribution à la réflexion fondamentale et récurrente sur la place, le rôle et le statut de la télévision comme instance énonciative sociale, il s’agit de mettre en lumière les mécanismes et les visées de traversions de l’évènement par la télévision. Comprendre comment d’instance de médiation, de témoin neutre dans l’idéalité du contrat d’information, la télévision devient actrice, mieux, metteur en scène en charge de reconstruire l’évènement. Le choix de la finale de la coupe du Cameroun de football permet ainsi d’illustrer les motivations de cette transmutation des faits rapportés, puisque le média nous fait passer d’une confrontation sportive à un couronnement politique.

                                                                     Abstract

                       This article aims to question the relationship between televisual treatment and the event as regards the impact of the methods of mediation on the register of the final perception of facts. Beyond the contribution to the fundamental and recurrent reflexion on the place, role and status of television as the setting of social expression, the intention is to bring to light the mechanisms by which television distorts an event and the aims of this distortion. To understand how, from a setting of mediation, a neutral witness in the ideality of the information contract, television becomes an actor, better yet, the director in charge of reconstructing the event. The choice of the final of the Cameroon football cup allows us to illustrate the motivations of the transmutation of reported facts, since the media transforms a sports confrontation/football match into a political crowning.
