                     Cet article trace l’historique bilan du Nouvel Ordre Mondiale de l’Information et de la Communication. L’idée essentielle était au départ de démonopoliser l’information entièrement dominée et manipulée par le Nord. Après 25 ans de discussion et depuis l’arrivée de M. Frederic Mayor a la tête de l’UNESCO, le NOMIC a été mis en veilleuse. Le programme International pour Le Développement de la Communication et dans une large mesure La Panafrican News Agency (PANA) en sont les fruits.

                      This article traces the historical balance sheet of the New World Information and Communication Order. The initial idea was to demonopolize information hitherts entirely dominated and manipulated by the West. After 25 years of discussion and since the arrival of Mr. Frederico Mayor at the helm of UNESCO, the fruit of NWICO can be seen in the concerns given to the International Programme for Development Communication and to a large extent the Pan-African News Agency (PANA).
