Peer Review Policy
Original research published in the Journal of Academic Library Practice will go through double blind peer review. Subject specialists who are experts in the field will be tasked to evaluate the quality of academic papers and provide feedback and guidance to the authors on how to improve the sections of the research paper, including the title, abstract, introduction, methodology, presentation of findings, and recommendations. The process from submission, peer review, to production (publishing) will take at least 14 weeks. There will be transparent communication with the author throughout the process, with the editorial team led by the Editor-in-Chief maintaining an anonymous process between the authors and referees to avoid academic biases.
