Peer Review Policy

The suitability and quality of manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief before the review process. Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage or assigned to another member of the Editorial management team.

If assigned, they will be subjected to a double-blind (peer review) refereeing process of at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers will be drawn from colleagues in the engineering education research community, selected for their knowledge of the field and/or specific expertise. Although it depends on the number of review cycles, articles take about 6 months from submission to publication.

Issues are currently published annually but the intention is for the frequency to increase as the journal grows.
